Home again, unpacked, photos galore and onto the next one! We got home from Rapid City, SD a week ago! Unfortunately while we were there we both contracted a nasty cold and Clay battled a 24 hour flu bug. We are on the mend with some lingering coughs and have welcomed the warm(er) weather, like everyone else!
We dove in right away Thursday morning, after we drove through some nasty fog Wednesday night. We were happy to see the lights of Rapid! Sutton Rodeo produced yet another amazing event! South Dakota is so lucky this family calls it home! I helped the ladies out in the office this year and of course Clay worked his magic behind the lens!
They had an all-star line up to help the week run smoothly including: the Sutton family themselves, Will Rasmussen, Keith Isley, Jersey Jake Ostrum, Jessi Franzen and Shae Heitsch. So many moving parts and everyone helped out so that everything ran smoothly! We are so happy they included us on the crew!
The list of events was awesome: Xtreme Bull Riding, 20X High School Showcase, Ranch Rodeo, PRCA slack, Bucking Horse Futurity, Bucking Horse Sale, Xtreme Bronc Match, Ultimate Bull Fighting, Mounted Shooting, Rodney Yost Horsemanship and of course PRCA rodeos.
You can catch Sutton Rodeo on the road March 13-14 in Grand Island, NE. There will be Xtreme Bulls and two PRCA rodeo performances, along with some horse racing at their great facility! Don’t miss out on Rodeo Grand Island. Also be sure to add Rodeo Rapid City to your calendar for 2021: January 29th-February 6th! The 43rd annual Rodeo Rapid City that has been up for Large Indoor Rodeo of the year 18 times is only going to get better from here!
Next week, Clay and I are headed to Texas to help out Olie’s Images on the road for about two weeks in Ft. Worth. We are really looking forward to working on a new team. When we head home, we will turn around and head to Grand Island for Rodeo Grand Island for a long weekend. Stay tuned, 2020 is heating up!
